HTFD Commissions New Medic Vehicle to Serve Township Residents

The Hamilton Township Trustees recently purchased a new medic vehicle for the Fire Department. The winning vendor for the construction of this medium duty vehicle is the Horton Company of Grove City, for a price of $137,741.80. The vehicle will look and be equipped as our other medium-duty medic.
The money for this replacement vehicle came from the levy that was passed on May 8, 2001, which the township started collecting in 2002. This will make Hamilton Township the best-equipped EMS service in central Ohio. We will have one medic unit at each station, with the 1995 model serving as a reserve medic unit.

Thank you voters, you're the best!

Respectfully,
Jerry L. Lupfer, Fire Chief
